Adjusting to daylight saving time can be a challenge at first. We’ve listed a few tips that should have you back on track in no time. 


Follow Healthy Bedtime Habits

Cut the caffeine in the afternoon. It will likely hit you right when you’re trying to fall asleep, so it’s best to avoid having a cup of your favorite coffee or tea after 2 pm. It’s also important to avoid bright lights for up to two hours before going to sleep as well. You’ll want to stay away from electronic devices for at least 30 minutes prior to bedtime. 


The Light Is Your Friend

Get some light as soon as possible, preferably within 15 minutes of waking up. Light is the strongest cue that helps adjust our internal body clock. Buy sheerer curtains to add to your bedroom design or you can even go on a quick walk or run before heading out for the day.  


Stick To Your Normal Routine

It is important to stick closely to your current routine, only making minor changes if possible. For example, try to get up at the same time each day. Even on the weekend.
